The Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has invited applications under its Birsa Munda Scholarship Scheme for meritorious students from displaced families for the academic session 2026–28. Eligible students who passed the Class 10 examination in 2026 and have taken admission in the first year of a recognised +2/Intermediate course can apply.
Under the scheme, first-year students will receive 500 per month and second-year students 750 per month for a maximum of two years. A total of 25 students will be selected purely on merit.
The scheme is applicable only to the legitimate or stepchildren of displaced families. Applicants must submit self-attested copies of Aadhaar and PAN cards of both the student and parent, a displacement certificate issued by the DPLR, the Class 10 marksheet, and a cancelled cheque or the first page of the bank passbook.
Applications in the prescribed format should be submitted to the HR (Learning & Development) Department, Room No. 01, BSL, by July 20, 2026. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the selected students’ bank accounts.
