ESL Steel Limited celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour, reaffirming its commitment to growth, excellence and nation-building. The celebration brought together employees, senior management and key stakeholders, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and collective purpose.
The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Ravish Sharma, CEO and Whole-Time Director, ESL Steel, followed by the National Anthem. Members of the Management Committee, including Prahlad Rawat, CFO; Shyamlee Minz, CHRO; Sunil Kumar N, Director–Infrastructure Management; and Sanjay Kumar, Head–PR & Stakeholder Management, along with department heads, directors, employees and stakeholders, attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma reflected on ESL Steel’s journey and called upon employees to move forward as one united ESL family. He emphasised that Independence Day carries a responsibility towards nation-building and urged every employee to contribute towards building a stronger India through teamwork, commitment, quality and excellence.
“Independence Day reminds us of the responsibility we carry towards our nation and the role each one of us has in building a stronger India. At ESL Steel, our journey is driven by the collective strength of our people. As one united ESL family, we must continue to move forward with greater commitment, uphold the highest standards of quality and excellence, and work together to take the company to greater heights,” he said.
The presence of local stakeholders added significance to the celebration, highlighting their continued support and cooperation in ESL Steel’s growth journey. Sharma also encouraged employees to maintain high standards in their everyday work and remain focused on achieving the company’s goals.
The celebrations concluded with a renewed sense of pride and purpose, reaffirming ESL Steel’s commitment to Safety, Quality, Commitment and Excellence.
