The State Shravani Mela 2026 continues to progress with grandeur and unwavering devotion. On the 25th day of the fair, as soon as the clock struck 4:11 a.m. in the early hours, the gates of Baba Baidyanath Temple were opened for devotees. The moment the gates opened, Kanwariyas began their sacred water offering (jalabhishek), which has continued uninterrupted.
The enthusiasm of Shiva devotees arriving in Deoghar with water from the north-flowing Ganga at Sultanganj has completely overcome fatigue and sleep. With the first rays of dawn, the entire route line was filled with Kanwariyas clad in saffron attire. Devotees standing in queues continuously raised chants of “Bol Bam” and praises of Baba, immersing the entire mela area in a spiritual atmosphere.
The administration is paying special attention along the route line to ensure devotees face no difficulties. Continuous monitoring is being carried out on security, drinking water, health facilities, and cleanliness arrangements for the Kanwariyas in the queues.
