Students of Surendranath Centenary School brought laurels to the school at the CBSE Cluster-III Athletics Competitions 2026, held at Vikas Vidyalaya, Ranchi, from 24th to 27th August 2026. In the Under-19 Girls category, Priyambada Thakur of Class XI A secured the Second Position and won the Silver Medal in Javelin Throw. The SCS team also secured the Third Position and won Bronze Medals in the Under-19 Girls 4×100 Metres Relay Race. The team comprised: Nitya Soni – XI D, Priyambada Thakur – XIA, Dhriti – XII F, Swapan Swarnim Toppo – XI C. Principal Samita Sinha congratulated the students on their outstanding performance and wished them continued success in their future competitions.
