Agriculture Minister inspects venue
ahead of Jharkhand Krishi Vyapar Mela 2026

Minister for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, today visited Morhabadi Ground, Ranchi, to review the preparations for the Jharkhand Krishi Vyapar Mela (Agriculture Trade Fair) 2026, the State’s largest agricultural event, which is set to commence tomorrow. During the visit, the Minister conducted a detailed review meeting with senior officials, including the Department Secretary and other concerned authorities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shilpi Neha Tirkey said that the fair will serve as a grand platform bringing together agriculture, technology, and trade. It will provide farmers with an opportunity to interact directly with experts, explore modern agricultural technologies, advanced farm equipment, innovative solutions, and emerging trends that can enhance productivity and profitability in the sector.
The three-day event will be inaugurated tomorrow by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The fair will be held from June 16 to June 18, 2026, and is expected to witness participation from farmers, agribusinesses, agricultural institutions, technology providers, and stakeholders from across the state and beyond.
Inviting people to participate in the event, Tirkey said, “I extend a warm invitation to all farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs, researchers, and stakeholders associated with the agriculture sector to be a part of this historic event. The Jharkhand Agriculture Trade Fair 2026 will provide a unique platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, networking, and business opportunities.”
She further urged citizens to join this celebration of agriculture and become partners in the journey towards modern, innovative, and prosperous farming.
