DC Bokaro conducts surprise inspection of District Sports Office

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha conducted a surprise inspection of the District Sports Officer’s office on Wednesday and reviewed various official records and registers maintained by the department.

During the inspection, the DC examined the incoming and outgoing registers, index register, records related to tourist destinations, closure reports for the financial year 2025-26, salary regulations, and other important documents. He also reviewed the overall office administration, record maintenance system, and cleanliness of the premises.

The Deputy Commissioner directed District Sports Officer Hemlata Boon to ensure that all registers and records are updated and properly maintained within a week. He emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in the discharge of official duties.

The DC further instructed officials to ensure 100 percent compliance with the Jharkhand Financial Rules in the execution of all financial matters. He stressed that all tasks should be carried out seriously and within stipulated timelines, leaving no scope for irregularities or errors.

Trainee IAS officer Arvind, District Sports Officer Hemlata Boon, Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh, and other staff members were present during the inspection.
