DC Bokaro directs 100% CMR submission by June 25, warns of strict action for negligence

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha reviewed the implementation of Supply Department schemes and directed rice millers to deposit 100% Custom Milled Rice (CMR) by June 25, 2026.

Chairing a review meeting at the Collectorate, the DC assessed foodgrain distribution, ration card verification, Aadhaar seeding, e-KYC progress and pending cases. He instructed officials to ensure timely supply of foodgrains to all dealers so that beneficiaries receive their entitlements without delay.

Emphasizing accountability, the DC warned that any negligence in implementing government schemes would invite strict action. He also directed officials to improve the distribution of pulses, salt and dhoti-saree benefits.

Ajay Nath Jha said the administration’s priority is to ensure that welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary and directed officials to dispose of all pending works within the prescribed timeline.
