Bokaro DEO-DC reviews SIR work, calls for faster digitisation and quality execution

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha on Thursday inspected polling stations in Chandankiyari to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign. He directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and officials to ensure timely distribution, collection and digitisation of enumeration forms while maintaining quality.

Inspecting Booth No. 178 at Bansgari and Booth No. 117 at Santhal Laghla, Jha noted satisfactory progress in form distribution and collection but asked officials to speed up digitisation. He also instructed volunteer teachers to actively assist BLOs after school hours.

The DEO-cum-DC interacted with villagers to assess the implementation of welfare schemes and assured beneficiaries that pending payments under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana would be released after completion of the ongoing verification process.
