Aditya Sahu calls on youth to follow SP Mookerjee’s Ideals

July 2, 2026

Binod Prasad

Lohardaga

Jharkhand BJP State President Aditya Prasad Sahu on Wednesday urged the youth to draw inspiration from the life and ideals of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and contribute actively towards nation-building and the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Addressing B.Ed. students at Abhiram B.Ed. College in Tiko, Lohardaga, Sahu described Dr. Mookerjee as a visionary leader and patriot whose ideals continue to inspire generations. He said the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh left behind an invaluable political legacy and called upon political leaders, party workers and young citizens to dedicate themselves to serving the nation.

Emphasising patriotism, Sahu said every citizen should work sincerely towards building a developed India and strengthening the country’s global standing. He credited the BJP’s rise as the world’s largest democratic political party to the commitment and selfless service of its workers.

Quoting, “The nation gives us everything; we too must learn to give something back,” Sahu said the spirit of selfless service should guide every BJP worker. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying India is making significant progress across sectors under his leadership.

Earlier, Sahu paid floral tributes to freedom fighter Vishram Tana Bhagat and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He also honoured Kargil war veteran Birsa Oraon and 1971 Indo-Pak war veteran Jodhan Mahto at their residences.

Later, he chaired an organisational meeting with BJP leaders and workers in Kudu to discuss party strategy, central government welfare schemes and organisational priorities. The programme was attended by senior BJP leaders, office-bearers and party workers
