Emphasizing that lakhs of devotees are expected to visit the shrine, he directed all departments to complete their assigned works within the stipulated timeline to avoid last-minute delays.
Prioritizing public health, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the Civil Surgeon to ensure that fully equipped medical aid centres are established at all sensitive and high-footfall locations. He also ordered the deployment of bike ambulances to provide quick emergency response in congested areas.
Sinha directed police and administrative officials to ensure adequate facilities and logistical support for magistrates and security personnel deployed during the mela. He also ordered the installation of LED display boards at major junctions to provide real-time information on tent cities, health camps, transit routes and emergency services.
He further stressed efficient lost-and-found services, round-the-clock sanitation, timely completion of tent infrastructure and a comprehensive electrical safety audit to ensure a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage.
