Former Pakur MLA and Ex Minister Alamgir Alam on Thursday filled the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) form for the electoral roll, urging eligible voters to actively participate in the ongoing voter verification drive. He said the Election Commission’s initiative is aimed at ensuring a clean, updated and error-free electoral roll, which is essential for free, fair and transparent elections.
Alam appealed to all eligible voters to complete the SIR form on time and submit it along with the required documents to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs). He also encouraged families to ensure that every eligible member gets verified within the stipulated period.
The district administration has deployed BLOs across all polling stations to conduct door-to-door distribution of enumeration forms and verify voter details. Citizens have been requested to cooperate with BLOs by providing accurate information and submitting completed forms within the prescribed deadline to facilitate the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision campaign.
