Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu has raised serious questions regarding the alleged irregularities and corruption in the 14th JPSC Preliminary Test (PT), targeting both the Jharkhand government and the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). He stated that the future of lakhs of aspirants has been jeopardized and that the state’s Congress-backed Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government has completely failed to protect the rights of the youth.
Sahu announced that a massive gathering would be held on July 22 at 10:00 AM at Jaipal Singh Stadium (near Kutchery), Ranchi, under the aegis of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to protest against these serious irregularities in the 14th JPSC PT. Following this, thousands of young activists will lay siege to the JPSC office.
Appealing to the state’s youth, competitive exam aspirants, and vigilant citizens to join this movement in large numbers, he emphasized that this struggle is not merely about a single exam but is a fight for the future of Jharkhand’s youth, a transparent recruitment system, and justice. He expressed confidence that the youth would make this mass movement a success and hold the government accountable.
Sahu noted that serious doubts have arisen in the minds of aspirants following the declaration of the 14th JPSC PT results. Most concerning is the fact that the marksheets provided to the candidates lack the signatures of the concerned officials. This is not only evidence of administrative negligence but also casts a serious shadow over the transparency of the entire examination process.
He pointed out that despite aspirants seeking copies of their OMR answer sheets under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, these are not being made available. Essential records are missing from the Commission’s website, and the exam results lack the signatures of the Commission’s members. This clearly indicates that the entire process is under a cloud of suspicion and that the state government is shielding corruption.
