The Ranchi East Electricity Division has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of the Tatisilwai subdivision on Saturday, July 25, to facilitate infrastructure improvement works under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
According to the electricity department, power supply from the Plandu Feeder will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon for the installation of covered LT cables and erection of electricity poles.
The affected areas include Plandu, including the area near Gammon India, areas near Reliance Petrol Pump and Rampur Chowk, Sidrol Power House service area and localities and villages beyond Rampur Chowk falling under the Plandu Feeder.
Officials said the entire Plandu Feeder will remain shut during the maintenance period. Consumers residing in the affected areas have been advised to plan their activities accordingly and cooperate with the department during the scheduled shutdown.
The department stated that the work is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the power distribution network and improve the reliability and safety of electricity supply in the region.
