The Deoghar district administration is fully prepared to ensure the safety and smooth darshan of the lakhs of pilgrims visiting Baba Baidyanath Dham from across the country and abroad on the auspicious occasion of the State Shravan Mela 2026. To manage crowds, maintain orderly traffic and prevent any accidents during the world-famous fair, entry of double-decker vehicles into the Deoghar district has been completely banned.
This restriction will be strictly enforced for the entire duration of the Shravan Mela on security grounds. Police personnel and checkpoints have been deployed at district borders to ensure that no prohibited vehicle enters the district and to maintain smooth traffic movement.
All devotees who come to Baba’s city, Deoghar, are held in the highest regard. Their safety is our top priority. Vehicle owners, drivers and pilgrims are requested to cooperate with the administration in this safety measure, follow traffic rules fully, and leave with safe and pleasant memories of their visit to Baba’s city.
