During the event, Pooja Kashyap was appointed as the Jharkhand Coordinator of Gargi Grihini. She was also entrusted with the responsibility of managing and operating the newly launched store in Deoghar.
A major attraction of the inauguration was the exhibition of products created by women entrepreneurs through five dedicated stalls. The displays featured hand paintings and Madhubani artwork by Khushbu Singh, handmade candles and wax products by Deepika Banerjee, sanitary pads and gift hampers by Renu Devi, pickles, jams and syrups by Pooja Kashyap, and stitched products, papad and other handmade items by Reena Jha. Visitors appreciated the quality and diversity of the products while applauding the entrepreneurial efforts of the women participants.
On the occasion, the organisers announced that products manufactured under the Gargi Grihini initiative will soon be available on Amazon, enabling women entrepreneurs to reach customers across the country.
