My Future Self

Dear future me, I hope you’ll see,
The dreams that started inside little me.
I want to smile, be kind each day,
And never let my hopes fade away.

I want to learn about stars so high,
And watch the planets cross the sky.
Maybe one day I’ll build a space machine,
To visit places no one’s seen.

If life gets hard, don’t be afraid,
Remember the promises you once made.
Keep wondering, laughing and having fun,
Because every new day is a new sun.
