Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi, felicitated 212 students who scored 90 per cent and above in the CBSE Class X Board Examination 2026 at a grand ceremony held in the school’s Vivekananda Auditorium on Thursday. The event celebrated academic excellence in the presence of students, parents, teachers and distinguished guests.
The ceremony was attended by DIG (Wireless), Ashwini Kumar Sinha, as the chief guest, while Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri was the guest of honour. The programme began with a welcome song, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the felicitation of the guests by Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan.
Congratulating the students, Dr. Chauhan credited their success to their hard work, the guidance of teachers and the unwavering support of parents. She encouraged the achievers to remain humble, uphold integrity and continue striving for excellence in every sphere of life.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of 212 students with certificates and commemorative mementoes. Students securing 98 per cent and above received special honours, including framed certificates and exclusive mementoes.
Addressing the gathering, Ashwini Kumar Sinha said academic success reflects perseverance, discipline and determination. He urged students to combine knowledge with integrity, humility and compassion, and to view every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow.
