Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Ranchi for providing residential skill development training to underprivileged, unemployed and underemployed youth under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the Financial Year 2026-27. The Memorandum of Agreement was formally signed by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR/CSR), CMPDIL, and Avneet Kumar Joshi, Director & Head, CIPET, Ranchi, in the presence of officials from the HR/CSR Department of CMPDI (HQ) and representatives of CIPET.
Under the programme, 80 youth from the districts of Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad and Latehar of Jharkhand will be imparted residential training at CIPET, Ranchi in two industry-oriented trades, with 40 candidates in each course i.e. Machine Operator – Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and Machine Operator – Tool Room (MO-TR).
Each training programme will be of four months (600 hours) duration and will be conducted in a fully residential mode to ensure focused learning, practical exposure and comprehensive skill development. CMPDIL has allocated a total budget of Rs 47.52 lakh for implementation of the project.
The training programmes are designed to equip participants with industry-relevant technical skills, enhancing their employability in the plastics processing and manufacturing sectors. Upon successful completion of the courses, the trainees will have improved opportunities for gainful employment in industries engaged in plastic processing, tool room operations and allied manufacturing sectors.
