In the Rajkiya Shravani Mela 2026, the district administration is continuously introducing innovative measures to enhance the convenience and enrich the spiritual experience of Kanwariyas and devotees visiting Baba Baidyanath Dham.
As part of this effort, special Virtual Reality (VR) camps are being operated across the entire mela area by leveraging modern technology. Through these VR camps, devotees at ten centres are being shown the history of the Baba Temple, the legend of the establishment of the sacred Shivalinga (one of the Dwadasa Jyotirlingas), the historical and cultural journey of Deoghar, and the government’s welfare schemes — all presented with the help of 3D animation and state-of-the-art graphics technology.
The moment devotees put on the VR gear, they are transported to an entirely different world where everything appears to unfold vividly before their eyes. Despite being a virtual medium, it is providing devotees with a completely realistic and transcendental experience.
