The Pentecostal Assembly School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour, as the strains of “Vande Mataram” echoed across the centre field before the Tricolour was hoisted.
Director Rev. Dr. D. N. Prasad unfurled the National Flag in the presence of Chief Academic Officer Rita Prasad, Executive Director Dr. Daniel Michael Prasad and Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad, followed by the National Anthem.
Middle School students presented a patriotic song, while School Captain Apeksha Pandey addressed the gathering and Vice-Captain Tanmay Kumar Dubey led the National Pledge. TGT Devjani Basu Choudhary spoke on the meaning and responsibilities of freedom.
Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad urged students to express patriotism through integrity, discipline, compassion and a strong sense of duty, reminding them that the responsibility of safeguarding the nation’s future rests with responsible young citizens.
