BOKARO

To further strengthen workplace safety, Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) organised a safety dialogue on “Line of Fire Management” with safety officers from various departments at the Executive Director (Operations) auditorium.

The session focused on identifying workplace hazards, preventing accidents, and implementing safe work practices. A presentation highlighted the concept of “Line of Fire,” associated risks, control measures, and best practices for accident prevention through practical examples.

The Acting Executive Director (Operations) reviewed potential hazards and risk-control measures across departments and urged safety officers to raise awareness among employees, promote safe work behaviour, and ensure strict compliance with safety procedures.

Safety officers also shared departmental safety initiatives, best practices, and implementation challenges. The meeting emphasized continuous efforts to strengthen safety culture, promote risk-based safety management, and achieve the goal of zero accidents.
