The Food Safety Department, Deoghar, carried out an inspection campaign aimed at ensuring the quality and hygiene of food items in food establishments.
During the drive, inspections were conducted at various hotels, restaurants and food outlets. The establishments inspected included Ganges Singh, La Moscow Italian Cafe, Bombay Street Food, Dosa Plaza, Mahindra Fast Food, Bajrangbali Chaat Corner, Hotel Maa Lakshmi Palace, The Magnum, Hotel Goodwin, Hotel Imperial Heights, KFC, Vlorery Food Adda, Biryani International, Tree Dose, Interval, Nashta Group Chai and Hotel Blue Lagoon.
Samples and items checked during the inspection included turmeric powder, chilli powder, paneer, sambar powder, tea, cooked dal, cooked vegetables, chole, tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce, cheese powder and others.
The Food Safety Department has directed all food business operators to ensure the quality and hygiene of food items, proper storage and adherence to safe food practices. The department will continue to conduct such inspection campaigns in the future to ensure the availability of safe and quality food products for consumers.
