DUMKA
In a swift and citizen-centric policing initiative, the Dumka District Police on Wednesday traced and handed over 15 lost mobile phones to their rightful owners during a special program organised at the Superintendent of Police’s office.
The recovered handsets belonged to residents hailing from various police station jurisdictions across the district who had lodged complaints regarding their missing devices. Following technical tracking and coordinated efforts by the cyber and surveillance units, Dumka Superintendent of Police Pitambar Singh Kherwar personally handed over the mobile phones to their rightful owners during the event. Expressing their relief and gratitude, the beneficiaries thanked the district police administration and the SP for their prompt action and successful recovery efforts.
