The Pakur district administration has completed all preparations for the smooth, transparent and malpractice-free conduct of the Jharkhand Regional Worker Competitive Examination-2024, to be conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).
As part of the preparedness exercise, the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), District Supply Officer and District Education Officer, inspected various examination centres across the district and reviewed the arrangements in place.
During the inspection, officials assessed seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, toilets, electricity and lighting, CCTV surveillance, security arrangements, entry and exit points, and control rooms. Centre superintendents were directed to strictly adhere to all guidelines issued by the JSSC and ensure that there is no lapse in the conduct of the examination.
The DDC said maintaining the transparency, confidentiality and credibility of the examination is the district administration’s top priority. He instructed magistrates, police officials and centre superintendents to work in close coordination and take immediate action against any suspicious activity. He reiterated that the administration would follow a zero-tolerance policy against malpractice, use of unfair means or violation of examination rules.
The district administration has advised candidates to reach their examination centres well before the reporting time, carry their admit cards and valid identity proof, and refrain from bringing any prohibited items into the examination halls. Candidates have also been urged to comply with all examination guidelines issued by the commission.
The Jharkhand Regional Worker Competitive Examination-2024 will be held on July 19, 2026, in three shifts at various centres across Pakur district. Authorities said comprehensive administrative and security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the examination is conducted in a safe, orderly and fair manner.
