Sarala Birla Public School on Saturday inaugurated the fourth edition of its three-day National Inter-School Inter-Disciplinary Arts Conclave, Pratidhwani, bringing together more than 450 students from 27 schools across India for a celebration of creativity, literature, performing arts and interdisciplinary learning.
Curated by Knowledge Resource Curator Mukherjee P., the conclave features competitions in debate, storytelling, theatre, poetry, quiz, creative writing and several other literary and artistic disciplines. The event has evolved into a nationally recognised platform promoting innovation, collaboration and creative excellence among young learners.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Pathak, Director General of Sarala Birla University, Prof. (Dr.) C. Jeganathan, Vice Chancellor, Prof. S. B. Dandin, Registrar, principals of leading CBSE schools, theatre artist and filmmaker Meghnath, members of the jury and other distinguished guests.
Students presented “Mantra to Machine – A Dance Odyssey,” depicting the harmonious journey from nature to technological advancement, while a mime performance on pollution highlighted environmental awareness.
Principal Manisha Sharma emphasised the need for education that nurtures creativity, curiosity and critical thinking alongside academics. Speakers encouraged students to embrace interdisciplinary learning and use art as a powerful medium for innovation, storytelling and positive social change. The conclave will continue over the next two days with a series of literary, artistic and intellectual competitions.
