Bokaro has achieved 100% distribution and digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EFs) across all four Assembly constituencies during the month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026, marking a key milestone in the electoral roll revision process.
The exercise was carried out through the coordinated efforts of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), election officials and field teams, supported by technology-driven monitoring and extensive public participation. Officials said the campaign was aimed at preparing a clean, accurate and inclusive electoral roll by ensuring that every eligible voter received an Enumeration Form and that the collected data was digitised.
Door-to-door verification, continuous monitoring and voter awareness campaigns played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the exercise. Authorities said the revision process was conducted in an inclusive and transparent manner with active involvement of election personnel at all levels.
Officials also clarified that eligible citizens who could not be covered during the enumeration drive need not worry, as they can still apply for inclusion in the electoral roll by submitting Form 6.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Ajay Nath Jha credited the success of the exercise to the collective efforts of BLOs, election staff and administrative teams. He also appreciated the cooperation of neighbouring district administrations, along with the support of the media and social media influencers in spreading awareness and countering misinformation related to the voter list revision process.
