Summer Dance Competition concludes at Aqua World

The grand finale of Aqua World’s Summer Holiday Dance Competition, which had been running for the past six Saturdays as part of its summer holiday programme series, was held with enthusiastic participation and vibrant performances.
In the junior category, Riyan secured first place, followed by Piyush in second and Khushi in third. Vani and Shashwat received consolation prizes. In the senior category, Gayatri emerged as the winner, while Shivam and Arpana finished second and third respectively. Riya and Deepa were awarded consolation prizes. Winners received trophies and certificates from the organisers.
The event featured special tribute performances dedicated to legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle by the top ten contestants. A Ganesh Vandana by the Mixed Element Group and several dance performances added to the entertainment.
A major attraction was a black-and-gold-themed ramp show presented by Wasim Alam’s VAMS Modelling Group. Guests Sohini Roy, Mrinalini Akhouri and Babita Kedia attended the event. Aqua World Deputy Chairperson Dr. Vidya Jha, dance guru Vipul Nayak and other dignitaries were also present.
