“BJP is almost in every length and breadth of the country. It’s sweeping across the country.” said the ex chief minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das.
The occasion was the reeling out of the ‘success’ of the 12 years rule of Modi government. Das asked the mediapersons to highlight it more than what he responded to the queries of the journalists.
It’s ‘politics of performance’ of the BJP said the ex chief minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das here in Daltonganj on Tuesday.
Explaining the politics of performance Das said “The neighbouring states of Jharkhand, without naming either Bihar, Chhattisgarh or Odisha, are all saffronised barring Jharkhand.”
“Jharkhand will also be saffronised in 2029 when the assembly election will be due here. The BJP is already up and doing it.” vowed Das.
Like others he was also counting the achievements of the 12 years rule of the Modi government.
He read out the relevant positions of the multi page folder in Hindi titled ‘Pragati Path Par, 12 varsh ki yatra’ .
However he in between didnot forget to curse the JMM and the Congress. He dubbed JMM for making false promises to the people of the state by finding holes in the outreach of the Maiyyan Samman Yojana.
He gave an impression that the freebies for women by the JMM got people misled and they got drifted away from the double engine ki sarkar.
Das was most scathing in criticism of the Congress in the state asking for the resignation of all the 4 ministers of the Congress quota of the state on the issue of local language to be used in the state service exams.
He tried to present that the trio the JMM, the Congress and the RJD have plunged the state into despair and hopelessness where people suffer and corruption rises.
“The medical college in Daltonganj started functioning in my tenure. But 7 years gone, this medical college has not yet got ready with 500 beds. Why?” asked the chief minister.
He looked ‘confused’ when told of the Mandal Dam which is far away from being any functional dam.
Palamu district president Amit Tiwary and his team oversaw the arrangement for Das at a popular hotel in Daltonganj.
