School = Bad!

School is the main part of your life because of the knowledge it gives and the fun stories you have. But school isn’t as cool as you think. The short way to say it: SCHOOL IS BAD!

You may say, “Oh, I’m just a kid. All kids feel like that!” Well, you’re wrong. I love school — middle school is fun because you get to vote and have a house system — but I’m talking about the bad side. So here are my points.

1. SCHOOL = STRESS
School gives too much stress. How? Let me make you feel it, dear readers. Imagine you forgot to do your math homework because you were buried in Hindi homework. Then your full 30-minute break goes into doing geometry. Then you get a remark from your English teacher because, while you were absent, no one told you about the English homework. And when you come home, there is a message on Google Classroom that on 1-9-2026 there is a Marathi test. When you check the date, you find out it is 31-8-2026, and the message came at midnight.

2. BULLYING
Bullies are jerks. Although I never got bullied (except by my brother), there are reports from other schools of kids getting locked up in their lockers for days and weeks! No wonder we don’t have lockers.

3. HATE Teachers
Teachers are cool and sweet, but some are NOT! If you’re sick, they don’t care… because they think you’re faking it. Once, I coughed so much that my mom came and gave me a puff from my inhaler. At the end of the day, I looked at my hands for a second, but that was the exact time the teacher looked around and shouted at me, saying I was faking the drama. After that day, she wouldn’t let me go to the nurse.

4. WRITING
This is my last point, even though there’s more. My hand is aching, so here we go.

Writing in school sucks because when I wrote too much in 4th grade, my hand became red and it pained me. Oh well, I have to sleep, so good night.
