Two headmasters from Lohardaga district have been selected to represent the district at a special leadership development workshop for headmasters of Gold Medal-certified schools in Jharkhand. Aliraza Ansari, Headmaster of PM Shri Government Upgraded High School, Jingi, and Arun Ram, Headmaster of PM Shri Government Middle School, Nawadipara, will participate in the programme. Organised by the Jharkhand Education Department, the special training programme will be held in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, from September 16 to 24, 2026.
The workshop is aimed at strengthening the leadership and professional capabilities of selected headmasters. Participants will receive training in school leadership, academic management, effective administration, innovation-based teaching, quality education, improvement of students’ learning outcomes and modern approaches to school development.
The selection of Ansari and Ram has been viewed as a significant achievement for Lohardaga, particularly as both their schools have earned recognition as Gold Medal-certified institutions. Their schools have reportedly distinguished themselves through efforts to improve academic quality, discipline, cleanliness and safety, students’ overall development, innovation and school management. Education officials and members of the school community are hopeful that the two headmasters will bring back new ideas, technologies and management practices from the workshop and implement them in their respective schools.
Such initiatives are expected to contribute to improving teachers’ efficiency, students’ learning abilities and the overall academic environment. The training is also expected to benefit other government schools in the district, as the experiences and innovative practices gained by the two headmasters could serve as a source of inspiration for wider educational improvement. Teachers and members of the school communities have congratulated Aliraza Ansari and Arun Ram on their selection, describing it as a recognition of their sustained efforts, leadership abilities and commitment to education.
