Jamshedpur gears up for three-day photography showcase

The Photographer Association of Jamshedpur unveiled the poster for the much-awaited ‘Image Craft Expo’, a three-day photography exhibition and technology showcase scheduled to be held from August 11 to 13. The poster launch ceremony was organised at Sakchi, where members of the association pledged to make the event one of the biggest photography gatherings in the region.
The expo aims to introduce photographers to the latest advancements in photography equipment, digital imaging technology, creative techniques and professional skills, providing a valuable platform for learning and networking.
The official poster of the Image Craft Expo was unveiled in the presence of Shankar Das and Pinky Das, organisers of Image Craft, who attended the programme as special guests. They were accorded a warm welcome by the office-bearers and members of the Photographer Association of Jamshedpur.
Association members expressed confidence that the three-day event would benefit both aspiring and professional photographers by exposing them to emerging industry trends and innovations.
Following the unveiling ceremony, members of the association resolved to work collectively to ensure the grand success of the upcoming expo.
The event witnessed the presence of the association’s executive committee, including President Anand Singh, Secretary Daljit Singh, Treasurer Shiv Shankar Gorai, Vice President Kamlesh, Joint Secretaries Rajesh and Balaram Sardar, Joint Treasurer Vinay, Former President Ashok Keshri, and Former Secretary Rupesh, besides several executive members and photographers from across the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Association President Anand Singh and Secretary Daljit Singh thanked the organisers of Image Craft for their support and participation. They said the expo would provide an excellent opportunity for photographers from Jamshedpur and neighbouring districts to enhance their technical knowledge, interact with industry experts, and explore the latest photography products and services.
They expressed hope that the event would emerge as a milestone in strengthening the photography industry in the Kolhan region and inspire the next generation of photography professionals.
