Redeveloped Bimalgarh station to be inaugurated by PM

Bimalgarh Railway Station under the Chakradharpur Railway Division is set to be virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The station is among nearly 75 railway stations across the country that have been redeveloped under the Centre’s flagship programme aimed at modernising railway infrastructure and improving passenger amenities.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of Chakradharpur Division, Aditya Kumar Choudhary, said all preparations for the inauguration ceremony have been completed. He said the station has been upgraded with modern passenger facilities and improved infrastructure to provide better services to commuters in the region.

The redevelopment is expected to enhance the travel experience for passengers and strengthen rail connectivity in the area. The inauguration will take place virtually during a nationwide event led by the Prime Minister.
