DPS Bokaro felicitated its 2015 batch alumnus, Shubham Kumar Mahato, who secured All India Rank (AIR) 142 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, during a visit to his alma mater. His achievement marks the culmination of three years of perseverance, with his rank improving from AIR 857 in 2023 and AIR 606 in 2024 to AIR 142 this year.
A Gold Medallist in Mining Engineering from BHU, Varanasi, Shubham shared his success mantra with students, stressing that there is no substitute for hard work, discipline and consistency. He said his aspiration to serve society and contribute to nation-building inspired him to pursue the civil services.
Congratulating the young achiever, Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar said Shubham’s outstanding accomplishment and steady rise in the UPSC rankings make him a role model for students, proving that determination and sustained effort lead to success.
