Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) organised the ‘A New Journey Begins’ programme at the Main Auditorium of the Human Resource Knowledge Acquisition and Development Department on August 12 for employees retiring in August and September. A total of 61 employees and officers, including 25 retiring in August and 36 in September, participated.
The programme focused on post-retirement healthcare, financial planning, retirement benefits and final settlement procedures. The sessions were conducted by experts from BSL’s Medical and Health Services, Town Services, Finance and Accounts and HR-Final Settlement departments.
Representatives of Bank of India, Sector-4 Branch, and Aditya Birla Life Insurance Company also briefed participants on senior citizen investment options, financial management and NPS withdrawal procedures.
The programme began with a welcome address by the Senior Manager (HR-Services) and concluded with a vote of thanks by the Manager, HR-Final Settlement Cell. The initiative reflected BSL’s commitment to helping retiring employees begin their next phase with greater financial, health and administrative preparedness.
