Jharkhand Congress in-charge K. Raju, state Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, along with several party ministers and legislators, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Tuesday and expressed gratitude for the decisions taken by the state Cabinet in the interest of students and job aspirants.
The Congress leaders welcomed the decisions taken at the special Cabinet meeting held on August 17, particularly the decision to cancel examinations conducted by TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL). They said the move reflected the state government’s sensitivity towards students and its commitment to protecting the interests of young people.
The leaders said the cancellation of the TDPL-conducted examinations would provide relief to students and candidates affected by the recruitment examination controversy and help address uncertainty surrounding their careers.
They told Soren that the state government, under his leadership, was giving priority to public welfare and the interests of the youth. They also appreciated what they described as the government’s commitment to taking decisions on issues affecting students and job aspirants.
Responding to the Congress leaders, Soren thanked them for their support and said the government’s objective was to safeguard the interests of Jharkhand’s youth and students.
The Chief Minister said the government had consistently taken issues concerning the future of young people seriously and would continue to take decisions with sensitivity and responsibility.
The meeting also covered various issues related to ongoing development projects, public welfare initiatives and student welfare in the state.
Those present included ministers Irfan Ansari, Deepika Pandey Singh and Shilpi Neha Tirkey; MLA Kalpana Soren, Rameshwar Oraon, Pradeep Yadav, Kumar Jaimangal, Rajesh Kachhap, Ramchandra Singh, Naman Bixal Kongari, Bhushan Bara and Mamta Devi, among others.
