Every successful business has a story built on passion, hard work, and vision. YV Interiors is one such inspiring journey founded by Akshat Singh and Vishal, two close friends and civil engineers who transformed their shared dream into a growing interior design company.
Both founders completed their graduation in Civil Engineering from Jaipur National University. Akshat later pursued an MBA from JNU, Delhi, which helped him develop management and business skills alongside technical knowledge. Their educational background and friendship became the foundation of YV Interiors.
Coming from supportive families, both learned the values of dedication, honesty, and discipline from an early age. Akshat belongs to a business-oriented family, while Vishal’s father is an advocate. These family values continue to influence the company’s work culture and professional approach.
During their engineering days, the two friends developed a strong interest in construction, design, and creative spaces. They realized that interior design was becoming an important and rapidly growing field with endless possibilities. Instead of choosing conventional careers, they decided to follow their passion and build something meaningful of their own.
The idea behind YV Interiors was never limited to creating beautiful homes. Their larger vision focused on improving lifestyles, contributing to modern infrastructure, and creating spaces that positively affect people’s emotions and daily lives. They believed that thoughtfully designed spaces can bring comfort, functionality, and happiness.
One of the most remarkable aspects of their journey is that they started the company with self-belief and personal effort. The initial seed funding was arranged independently without outside investors. Through patience, planning, and determination, they slowly built the company from the ground up.
Like every entrepreneurial journey, their path was filled with challenges. Managing workers, handling responsibilities, coordinating teams, and maintaining quality often became stressful tasks. In the earlier days, clients had limited awareness about interior design, which made convincing them difficult. Multiple meetings and detailed explanations were often required before finalizing projects. However, with the growth of social media, education, and online awareness, people today understand the value of good interiors much better.
Today, with nearly eight years of hands-on industry experience and three years as an officially registered company, YV Interiors has established itself as a promising interior design company based in Ranchi. The company combines engineering precision with creativity to create elegant, functional, and personalized spaces. Their services include modular kitchens, false ceilings, customized interiors, residential spaces, and commercial projects.
What truly sets YV Interiors apart is its customer-centered philosophy. The company believes that every home reflects emotions, memories, and dreams. Rather than focusing only on luxury or trends, they aim to understand the needs, comfort, and budget of each client. Their philosophy is simple: every space should feel personal, functional, and beautiful.

Over the years, YV Interiors has worked on several important projects. Their journey began with projects such as Blue Ocean Bar at Sujata Chowk, Ranchi, followed by BOB Bar in Asansol and room interiors at Payel Inn Hotel. They also worked on Maa Sharda Sweets & Restaurant and the DRM Office in Adra.
Alongside commercial projects, the company developed expertise in residential interiors through projects like Andal Villa and Shrishti Nagar Villa. They later worked on premium projects in Kolkata, including an Urban NRI Penthouse and the penthouse of a DIG officer in Salt Lake.
One project especially close to their hearts was the complete interior design of a school director’s house around three years ago. The client trusted them fully and appreciated not only their work but also the dedication of every worker involved. This experience taught them the importance of teamwork, trust, and respect.
Today, Akshat and Vishal continue to move forward with the same passion and dedication. More than designing interiors, they believe in creating spaces that people emotionally connect with. Their journey proves that when friendship, creativity, and hard work come together, dreams can truly become reality.
