Deoghar
With the support of the Jharkhand government and Civil Aviation (JFI), a special helicopter service is being successfully operated in Deoghar during the world-famous Rajkiya Shravan Mela to promote tourism and provide convenience to devotees and the general public. As part of this initiative, today a highly commendable step was taken in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania, under which the differently-abled and special children of ‘Saras Kunj’ were given a free helicopter ride.
Under the initiative, while fully adhering to all safety standards, a total of 25 children from Saras Kunj were taken on aerial tours in the helicopter one by one. As soon as the helicopter took off, the children’s faces lit up with joy and excitement. Viewing the scenic valleys of Deoghar and Babhadham from the sky was a magical and unforgettable experience for them. After the flight, the children of Saras Kunj expressed their happiness and described the entire experience as the most memorable moment of their lives. The children and the institute’s organisers heartily thanked the DC for this unique initiative and sensitive approach.
It may be recalled that the main objective of the helicopter service launched by the Jharkhand government is to provide elderly, differently-abled devotees and common citizens with convenient and safe aerial darshan in a short time. Through this service, the district administration is not only giving new dimensions to religious tourism in Deoghar but also bringing a new flight of joy to the needy and special children of society.
Also present on the occasion were DDC Piyush Sinha, Municipal Commissioner Sulochana Meena, Sub-Divisional Officer Ravi Kumar, Circle Officer Deoghar Anil Kumar, Assistant Public Relations Officer Rohit Kumar Vidyarthi, along with the children of Saras Kunj and concerned magistrates and police officers.
