Special citizen service camps will be organised across the district after the conclusion of the ongoing fair to help residents access essential government services closer to their homes.
The decision was taken following a Janata Darbar chaired by Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania, where residents from both urban and rural areas raised issues related to land acquisition, compensation, pensions, housing, ration cards and the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana.
The proposed camps will particularly benefit people in remote rural areas. Services will include birth and death registration, with certificates to be issued to those who had missed registration earlier. Facilities for new Aadhaar enrolment, biometric updates and corrections in names and addresses will also be provided.
Bhuwania directed concerned officers and Block Development Officers to prepare and release the camp schedule after the fair and ensure extensive publicity so that residents are aware of the facilities.
He also directed officials to organise special camps for speedy disposal of land acquisition, compensation and other revenue-related cases, ensuring that raiyats do not face inconvenience in receiving compensation.
During the Janata Darbar, several grievances related to ration cards, pensions, Maiya Samman Yojana and revenue matters were resolved on the spot. Officers were also instructed to physically verify pending complaints and submit action-taken reports within a week.
