Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) organised a strategic business workshop, ‘RE:ALIGN with ONE – Strategic Business Workshop for a Future-Ready Perspective of Bokaro Steel Plant’, at Bokaro Niwas on August 29, 2026. The workshop focused on assessing emerging trends in the global and Indian steel industry and identifying strategic priorities to strengthen BSL’s long-term competitiveness, operational excellence and sustainable growth.
The workshop brought together the Director In-charge, Executive Directors, Chief General Managers and senior officials of BSL for discussions on changing market dynamics, technological advancements, competition, productivity, cost efficiency and emerging business opportunities.
The Director In-charge made a presentation on the evolving global steel scenario, opportunities and challenges, India’s steel sector and the key directions of the National Steel Policy. He emphasised strengthening capabilities, improving operational and business efficiency, and working with greater coordination and collective commitment under the ‘One BSL’ approach.
A business interaction and leadership dialogue was also held, focusing on emerging operational and business challenges, productivity enhancement, competitiveness and new growth opportunities. The workshop reaffirmed BSL’s commitment to becoming a more efficient, technology-driven, competitive, innovation-oriented and sustainable organisation.
