Young cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has captured the attention of cricket fans across the country with his explosive batting, exceptional talent, and remarkable performances at a very young age, will soon be honoured in Jharkhand. In a significant recognition of his achievements and influence among the youth, the Jharkhand government has also decided to appoint him as the brand ambassador of the state’s Health Department.
Announcing the decision, Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari praised the young cricketer for his fearless approach and outstanding performances on the field. Congratulating Vaibhav, the minister said that although his team may not have emerged victorious in the recent match, the young batter had undoubtedly won the hearts of millions of cricket lovers across India.
“I myself have been a cricket player, and I understand the challenges that come with performing at the highest level. The confidence, aggression, and maturity with which Vaibhav has faced some of the world’s top bowlers at such a young age is truly extraordinary. He has brought immense pride not only to himself and his family but also to Bihar and the entire nation. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him and will soon honour him in Jharkhand,” Dr. Ansari said.
The minister further stated that at just 15 years of age, Vaibhav has demonstrated exceptional courage, confidence, determination, and discipline, qualities that are helping him carve a unique place in Indian cricket. According to him, Vaibhav is more than just a talented cricketer; he is a symbol of youth energy, perseverance, hard work, and dedication. His achievements have inspired countless young people across the country to pursue their dreams with commitment and self-belief.
As part of his new role, Vaibhav will work with the Jharkhand Health Department to promote awareness about health, fitness, discipline, and healthy living among young people. The department hopes that his popularity and influence will encourage youth to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Welcoming the announcement, former international cricketer and Secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association, Saurabh Tiwary, said the move would boost the morale of aspiring players in Jharkhand and further strengthen the culture of sports in the state.
Expressing confidence in the youngster’s future, Dr. Ansari said Vaibhav possesses the potential to take Indian cricket to even greater heights and is capable of bringing many more laurels to the country on the global stage in the years to come.
