Dumka
Under the auspices of the Dumka unit of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, Jharkhand Prant, a solemn Vyas Pujan and Guru Dakshina program was organized at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dumka. The event was attended by distinguished academicians and social leaders, including senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteer Prof. Dr. Rajendra Pandey, Department of Psychology Professor Dr. Kalanand Thakur, Sanskrit scholar Dr. Nripendra Pathak, School Principal Kumar Vimlesh, Secretary Suraj Keshri, along with Ashwani Ji and several prominent educators.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Kalanand Thakur highlighted the paramount role of the guru in the Indian education system. He emphasized the urgent need to integrate traditional Indian knowledge systems and research into the contemporary global educational paradigm. Presenting the presidential address, Prof. Dr. Rajendra Pandey elaborated on the vastness and depth of the term ‘National.’ He defined a nation as an undivided geographical entity unified by citizens who embody knowledge, civilization, cultural heritage, and deep mutual kinship.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Kumar Vimlesh commended the sustained efforts of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in preserving Indian culture, values, and pedagogical tradition across the region. He also outlined the spiritual and historical significance of Vyas Pujan. Highlighting the organizational mission, Dr. Nripendra Pathak discussed Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal’s commitment to the motto “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” (Education is that which liberates), detailing the ongoing initiatives aimed at re-infusing Indian values and heritage into modern education.
