Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) achieved a major success at the Third SAIL HR Conclave, held at the Management Training Institute (MTI), Ranchi, on 22–23 July 2026, with its HR team securing the top position in the inter-unit presentation competition.
The conclave, themed “Beyond Policies: HR as the Architect of Performance Culture,” focused on the role of human resources in fostering a high-performance organisational culture.
Representing BSL, H. Shekhar, General Manager (HR); Shipra Hembram, Assistant General Manager (HR); and Sushmita Soren, Senior Manager (HR) delivered a presentation highlighting the plant’s people-centric HR initiatives and positive workplace transformation, earning the highest honours.
The event also featured addresses by senior SAIL leadership, emphasising the strategic role of HR in driving organisational excellence and a performance-oriented work culture.
The recognition reflects BSL’s continued focus on employee empowerment, capability building, and strengthening organisational excellence through innovative human resource practices.
