Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) on Wednesday held the quarterly review meeting of its Official Language Implementation Committee at its headquarters in Ranchi, with Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra presiding over the session.
The meeting was attended by General Manager (Official Language) Ashok Kumar, Heads of Departments, General Managers, Official Language Nodal Officers, and representatives from various CCL areas. Deputy Manager (Official Language) Divik Divesh presented a detailed review of the organisation’s official language programmes, initiatives, and achievements during the previous quarter. The committee also assessed the progress of Hindi usage in offices through the quarterly performance report.
Addressing the meeting, Ashok Kumar described Hindi as more than a medium of communication, calling it a reflection of India’s society, culture, and national identity. Mishra stressed that greater use of Hindi in official work would simplify administrative processes, improve communication, and enhance organisational efficiency.
During the meeting, several departments and CCL areas were honoured with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding efforts, innovation, and effective implementation of the Official Language policy during the previous quarter. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to further strengthen the use of Hindi across the organisation.
