The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) will organise the Green Campus Clean Campus (GC³) Campaign on17 July 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Science Building Auditorium, Cheri-Manatu Campus. The University has invited all students, research scholars, faculty members, officers and staff to take part in this important environmental initiative.
The campaign aims to encourage everyone to keep the campus clean, green and environmentally friendly. It will also spread awareness about cleanliness, tree protection, proper waste management and the importance of protecting nature.
One of the main highlights of the programme is the “Donate Tree Guards” initiative. Through this initiative, members of the University community, alumni and well-wishers are encouraged to donate tree guards to protect young plants growing on the campus. The University believes that planting trees is important, but protecting them is equally necessary for their healthy growth.
The campaign is part of CUJ’s continuous efforts to create a clean, green and sustainable campus. The University believes that small efforts by every individual—such as keeping the surroundings clean, reducing waste and protecting trees—can make a big difference to the environment.
