Describing education as the strongest cornerstone of social change and development, the Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Works, Government of Jharkhand, Deepika Pandey Singh inaugurated the newly constructed building in Mahagama on Monday.
The upgraded Primary School is situated at Dwarika Kitta in Surni Panchayat, under the Meharma block of Mahagama. Built at a cost of Rs 18 lakh, this school building marks a significant step towards providing a better educational environment and essential facilities for the children of the area.
Following the inauguration, Singh inspected the school premises and interacted with children, parents, and local villagers. During the interaction, she specifically met with the mothers, urging them to send their children to school regularly and to make education the family’s top priority. She emphasized that an educated child lays a strong foundation for the bright future of the family, society, and the state.
On the occasion the Minister said that the State Government’s priority is not merely to construct school buildings but to provide children with a safe, well-equipped, and quality educational environment. She affirmed that the Government is deeply committed to ensuring better education for every child, providing essential resources to every school, and offering equal opportunities for every student to realize their dreams.
Singh remarked that investment in education is an investment in the bright future of coming generations, and the campaign to strengthen educational infrastructure in the Mahagama assembly constituency will continue unabated.
