ESIC Adityapur disburses benefits worth Rs 8.62 L

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Branch Office, Adityapur, on Friday disbursed the first instalments of benefits under the Permanent Disablement Benefit (PDB) and Dependent Benefit (DB) schemes, reaffirming its commitment to providing timely social security assistance to insured workers and their families. The benefit distribution ceremony was held at the ESIC Branch Office in the presence of Shivendra Kumar, Regional Director, ESIC Jharkhand Region. Under the Permanent Disablement Benefit scheme, a total of approximately ₹6.47 lakh was disbursed among four beneficiaries—Mahendra Singh Munda, Gudu Kumar Yadav, Sanjay Singh and Ramdas Hembram. In addition, approximately ₹2.15 lakh was released as the first payment under the Dependent Benefit scheme to three dependents of the late insured employee Sonaram Mahto.
