Gunmen open fire on NTPC Coal transport vehicles in Hazaribagh

Unidentified armed assailants opened fire on coal transport vehicles engaged in NTPC’s Pakri Barwadih coal mining project in Barkagaon late Saturday night, in an incident that police are investigating as a case of criminal intimidation.
According to police and vehicle drivers, three gunmen ambushed two Hyva trucks near the 13 Mile area and fired multiple rounds at the vehicles. No injuries were reported, although both vehicles sustained damage.
The attackers allegedly left behind two pamphlets bearing the name of notorious gangster Prince Khan and the initials “K.S.S.” Following the incident, an audio clip circulated on social media in which a person claiming to be Prince Khan, allegedly speaking from Dubai, took responsibility for the attack. The individual claimed that 40 to 50 rounds had been fired at five trucks.
Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar visited the scene with senior officers and confirmed the recovery of five spent cartridges. He said preliminary findings suggest that around seven to eight rounds were fired, targeting only two vehicles. The SP dismissed the claims made in the viral audio as inaccurate, stating that police recovered only two pamphlets from the spot, not eight as claimed.
Police have launched an investigation and said efforts are underway to identify and arrest those involved. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against the perpetrators.
