On the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima, a grand programme of various religious and service-related activities was organised with devotion, faith and spiritual enthusiasm at Sri Sri Bala Nanda Brahmachari Ashram, Karhnibad, Deoghar.
The programme began with the Guru Paduka Puja performed by the present Sevayat of the ashram, Pavitrananda Brahmachari Maharaj, along with the Shodashopachar Puja of the sacred idols of Param Pujya Guru Sri Mohanananda Brahmachari Ji, Param Guru Maharaj Sri Bala Nanda Brahmachari Ji and Paratpar Guru Sri Brahmananda Brahmachari Ji Maharaj. On this occasion, disciples and devotees who had come from India and abroad also performed Guru Paduka Puja and received the blessings of the Gurus. After the puja, several devotees took initiation (diksha) from Maharaj Sri.
Thereafter, the newly constructed Sri Sri Baleshwari Allopathic Charitable Hospital and Sri Sri Mohanananda Matri Seva Sadan in the ashram premises were formally inaugurated by Jharkhand Government Minister Deepika Pandey Singh and Pujya Maharaj Sri.
It was informed on the occasion that free medical services would be provided at the Seva Sadan by Dr. Chandrabhushan Pandey (DM Cardiology) and Dr. Sapna Sajal (PGDCC, Clinical Cardiologist), so that needy and economically weaker patients of the region can avail better healthcare facilities.
The programme was attended by Dr. Munnam Sanjay, Dr. Arvind Bajpai, trustees and staff of the ashram, and a large number of disciples and devotees who had come from India and abroad.
