Rajmahal Lok Sabha MP Vijay Hansda on Monday met party workers and local residents from across Pakur district at the Circuit House and heard their grievances related to electricity, drinking water, roads, healthcare, ration and pensions.
The residents apprised the MP of various problems they have been facing in their respective areas. Taking note of the complaints, Hansda spoke to officials of the concerned departments over the phone and directed them to take prompt steps to resolve the issues.
The MP assured the people that necessary measures would be taken to address their grievances and ensure timely resolution of public issues.
JMM district president Azizul Islam and district MP representative-cum-Central Committee member Shyam Yadav were present on the occasion, along with several party office-bearers and workers.
District vice-president Peter Marandi, Central Committee members Umar Farooq and Mithilesh Ghosh, district organisation secretary Anaruddin Mian, Mahila Morcha district president Josephina Hembram, Kisan Morcha district president Daniel Kisku, Yuva Morcha district vice-president Rezaul Haque, Buddhijivi Morcha district vice-president Prakash Singh, Minority Morcha district vice-presidents Sagir Ansari and Ruhul Amin, Nagar president Mukesh Singh, Nagar secretary Noor Alam, Pakur block president Musluddin Sheikh and secretary Rajesh Sarkar were among those present.
Hirapur block president Ishaq Ansari, Littipara block president Prasad Hansda, Amrapara block president Shyamlal Hansda and secretary Zahiruddin Mian, Maheshpur block secretary Sushil James Hembram and a large number of party workers and villagers also attended the meeting.
