The ONGC CBM Asset, Bokaro, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at its office premises. The ceremony began with Vande Mataram, followed by the unfurling of the national flag by Asset Manager Rajiv Kumar Sinha.
Addressing the gathering, Sinha appreciated the outstanding work of various departments and urged employees to contribute towards strengthening the country’s energy security.
Kendriya Vidyalaya students presented patriotic songs, dances and cultural performances, while children of ONGC employees also showcased their talent through music and dance.
Sinha presented a cheque of ₹30,000 to the parade commander and announced ₹25,000 for Kendriya Vidyalaya students as encouragement. Senior officials, department heads, officers and employees attended the celebration.
